The "Last Walk To The River” jewels take inspiration from the embellished vessels woman use to carry water from the well, bringing awareness to the lack of clean water that affects communities, primarily women and young girls, in some parts of the world. Having to walk many kilometres to find clean water for daily needs is the reality for many women and children living in underdeveloped rural areas.
These earrings are a hommage to these women and girls.
