DESIGN STORY 

Drawing inspiration from the distinctive craftsmanship of Northern Ethiopia and Eritrea, the Tsirur (Pronounced as See-roor) is believed to evoke a symbol of grace and dignity. This intricate design, known as filigree, was introduced to goldsmiths in Northern Ethiopia by Greek and Armenian artisans through ancient trade routes over two centuries ago. Traditionally, Tsirur, along with other adornments, has been worn by women during social occasions to signify their social status and wealth.
