The Aksum Cross (pronounced as Ak.Soom) takes inspiration from a renowned processional cross in Northern Ethiopia. With its intricate combination of spherical shapes and patterns, this cross conveys various biblical references, including the crown of thorns, the Garden of Eden, and the radiant sun to symbolize the divine nature and eternal age of God.
